On Wednesday, December 28, we presented a check to IHM Community Food Pantry for $2022; our generous Fanwood neighbors donated an additional $2881 during our 4th virtual food drive!
Together, we are helping to ensure more members of our community will have access to nutritious food this winter season. Thank you for your generosity!
During the past two years, FCF has raised more than $19,000 for our local pantries and given more than $8,000 of that directly to the
IHM Food Pantry (IHM Volunteers pictured).
The Community Food Bank of New Jersey services food pantries in our area including Church of Immaculate Heart Food Pantry. CFBNJ, a member of Feeding America®, is the state’s largest anti-hunger and anti-poverty organization, supporting more than 1,000 community partners, including local food pantries (like IHM in Scotch Plains) and soup kitchens, throughout the 15 New Jersey counties it serves. CFBNJ ensures access to nutritious food for vulnerable individuals and families while also preparing to meet the ever-growing need.
