The Fanwood Community Foundation’s virtual food drive raised a total of $4,533 for the Community Food Bank of NJ! The Fanwood community donated $2,510 and the Fanwood Community Foundation donated an additional $2,023 to our local IHM Food Pantry. Together, we are helping to ensure more members of our community will have access to nutritious food this winter season. Thank you for your generosity; our donation link will remain up as the need continues to be great.
Since 2020, FCF has raised more than $23,000 for our local pantries and given more than $10,000 of that directly to the IHM Food Pantry (IHM Volunteers pictured).
The Community Food Bank of New Jersey services food pantries in our area including Church of Immaculate Heart Food Pantry. CFBNJ, a member of Feeding America®, is the state’s largest anti-hunger and anti-poverty organization, supporting more than 1,000 community partners, including local food pantries (like IHM in Scotch Plains) and soup kitchens, throughout the 15 New Jersey counties it serves. CFBNJ ensures access to nutritious food for vulnerable individuals and families while also preparing to meet the ever-growing need.
